Mr. Floroff was drawing the chapel and found north of it, an inscribed limestone fragment in relief.

G 5227a A: Removed chamber II blocking. It is cut in bad rock and roofed with one slab. Rubble, stones, mud from the blocking and limestone debris underneath. Total depth 4.3 meters. North-south rock cut coffin running from north to south with a lid of one stone on the north and a small one on south. The corners are bound with mud. Coffin left for photo.

G 5231 B: Removed the chamber blocking. Stones and mud from the blocking. Body, head was on north but now thrown to the east. Body left for photo.

G 5232 B: Removed the chamber blocking. Built of masonry, bound with gyps and roofed with slabs (only the middle stone fallen out). Stones, mud from blocking. In the chamber sand, limestone debris and two stones from the roof. Chamber not yet cleared. Body not yet appeared.

G 5233 F: Removed the chamber blocking. Built of crude brick above and cut in bad rock below. Roofed with slabs. Rubble and mud from the blocking. Body head on northeast. Left for photo.

G 5236 A: Removed the chamber blocking. Stones, rubble and mud from the blocking. North-south body, head on north, left for photo.

G 5236 C: Removed the chamber blocking. Stones, rubble and mud from the blocking. Body head on northeast. Left for photo.

G 5237 D: Removed the chamber blocking. Stones from blocking and in the chamber: sand, limestone debris, rubble and drift sand and silt deposited with rain. Cleared. No body, because the chamber was not intact. Drawing.

G 5242 A: Removed the chamber blocking. It is cut in rock. Only on east with stones. Roofed with slabs. Two stones and mud from the blocking. In the chamber silt deposited with rain and black debris. North-south body, head on north, bones decayed and broken from rain. Left for photo.

G 5243 C: Removed the two pottery jars from the southeast corner. Also removed the chamber blocking. Stones, rubble and mud from the blocking. Body, head on north facing east. On the body traces of linen wrappings (some of the bones not in place). On west of the body a complete pottery bowl resting on the rock. Body and bowl left for photo.

(1) West of G 2435
Margin note: G 2436.
West of that mastaba. North of G 2428. Searching for new mastabas and shafts in that place. Sand, dirty debris, limestone debris, rubble, stones and potsherds. West of that mastaba appeared a new crude brick mastaba, begins from the G 2428 and running to north. Found in debris: inscribed nummulitic limestone fragment in sunken relief, not left in place. The lining of the mastaba on east not yet exposed.
