G 2442 Y: In shaft and chamber. Ends at rock. Lined with mixed masonry, rubble and crude brick. It is in the street on north, north of X. Total depth 2.45 meters. Sand, dirty debris, and limestone debris. Chamber on north. Built of crude brick and was roofed with slabs, (only two roofing slabs preserved on south). No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.

North of that mastaba in removing the old dump heap. Searching for new mastabas and shafts. Limestone debris, rubble, dirty debris, and stones. Nothing exposed yet.

(2) G 5481
In the mastaba in exposing the chapel and the shafts for drawing. Limestone debris, rubble, stones, and sand. Exposed a stone chapel (uninscribed) with two uninscribed niches on west. Shafts not yet exposed. Room not yet cleared.

Exactly as yesterday, (see February 17).

(2) G 5481
On top of the mastaba in exposing the shafts. Sand, limestone debris and rubble. Exposed four shafts A, B, C, D, but not started in them. Found in debris above shaft: four inscribed limestone fragments (in sunk relief) from a stele, left on the mastaba. That mastaba is a stone mastaba, east of G 5480 and north of G 5482.

Room a. In the room. Sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Door opened to south with an east-west serdab with roof destroyed. In the room is a place for two pillars. Cleared on a limestone floor. Empty.

In the mastaba in exposing the lining and the shafts. Sand, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Exposed the lining of the mastaba, it is a stone mastaba east of G 5480 and south of G 5481. Also exposed four shafts lettered A, B, C, D but not started with them. Also exposed a room, lettered a.

G 5482 room a. In the room. A stone room uninscribed, with an uninscribed niche on west. Sand, limestone debris and rubble. Door opened to east. It is east of shaft and north of shaft. Cleared on limestone floor. Drawing of mastaba G 5481 and G 5482 on page 900.
