G 2238 X: In shaft and chamber. Lined with masonry to the rock. It is south of Y and east of W or west of G 2239. Total depth 1.85 meters, sand, limestone debris, rubble, red debris. Chamber on south built of stones and roofed with slabs. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.

G 2238 Y: In shaft. Lined with stones to the rock. It is south of Z and north of X, between G 2238 and G 2239. Total depth 1.45 meters, red debris, limestone debris and rubble. Chamber on south blocked with rubble and with traces of mud (partly destroyed on top), left for photo.

G 2238 Z: In shaft. Lined with stones to the rock only on north with crude brick to the rock. North of Y between the corners of G 2238 and G 2239. Total depth 1.2 meters, sand, limestone debris and rubble. Chamber on south blocked with rubble with traces of mud (mixed with rubble is a small stone), left for photo.

G 2238 W: In shaft and chamber. Lined with masonry above and cut in bad rock below. South of G 2238 to the west. Total depth 1.8 meters, sand, limestone debris rubble, and red debris. Chamber on south cut in bad rock, roofed with slabs. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing on page 803.
