Section in front of Lepsius 40 W (G 5230 W) nearly finished, began work on Lepsius 40 S (G 5230 S).

This building was never finished. The entrance E was dressed and the inside of S1 - 4 but Room O was left unfinished, as well as all the outer surfaces.
All the serdabs S1 - S4 were roofed with heavy blocks of stone. [ILLUSTRATION]. But the westernmost block in S1 - S3 had been either removed or shoved aside. In S4 it was the second block from the west. The southern rooms were full of sand. In O, a big hole had been dug by thieves cutting into the masonry - filled with rubbish. In S3 a body skeleton, probably Roman. Appears as if the rooms S1 - S4 had been used as a communal burial place in Roman times.

In the end of the corridor of G 5232 is a small unopened serdab.
