[Menkuare quarry cemetery (continued)]
a = finely built mastaba [MQ 105], five courses of whose casing is left, apparently set in recess in the rock, but the sand still covering all except the face of the mastaba makes it uncertain.
b, b = the rock face of the quarry.
c = a narrow passage in the rock which apparently joins the similar passage leading west from Room 101 [MQ 101]. The passage is 30 or 35 cm wide, and about 250 or 275 high.
The only object found was a broken slab, [ILLUSTRATION/GLYPHS] [[Hm-nTr mnkAwra anxnbf] "priest of Menkaure Ankhnebef"]. [B1630]
The cartouche is evidently to be filled in: [GLYPHS] [Menkaure]
