Small mud and rubble mastaba. Two niches on east face, facing into a small mud brick 'court'. Pit A in the body of the mastaba.

G 1624 A: Rock-cut below. Depth 1.25 meters. Chamber, open, on south, cleared.

Masonry mastaba with rubble core. Uncovered its north face. The debris over all this area is mostly drift-sand which has banked up against this north-facing slope. The rock face in which the small rock-cut tombs (G 1607, G 1608, G 1609, G 1611, G 1612, G 1618) are cut, is not high, and the ground slopes fairly steeply above, and less steep by below it.
