Pit G 4341 A continued, finding more beads like above and fragments of a copper plate.
Rooms west of G 4220 under way, finding two small mastabas G 4221 and G 4220.
Stone taken from G 4530 and put on progressing causeway towards east from G 4420.
Debris between G 4240 and G 4330 finished.
Causeway from G 4420 toward west finished giving a depth of about 3 meters now to cover again over the entire dumping ground.
Street between G 4330 and G 4430 finished:

Causeway toward east from G 4420 finished extending as far as top of G 4720.
A little work done on rooms west of G 4220.
[G 4720]
Pit G 4720 started reaching a depth of about 250 cm in sand.
And also street west of G 4720 started to be cleared of sand filling.

Monday, February 2, 1914
Men's day off.
Tuesday, February 3, 1914
All day spent removing sand debris east of G 4720, new causeway in full swing.
Wednesday, February 4, 1914
Same as yesterday.
Thursday, February 5, 1914
All day spent clearing sand from street east of G 4730 where a small stone mastaba runs north and south.
Friday, February 6, 1914
Same as yesterday, an empty serdab being exposed.
Saturday, February 7, 1914
Work continued east of G 4730 and also around north of G 4830 where a small mastaba was found.
Miss Flint and Miss Paull here till Monday.
Sunday, February 8, 1914
Same as before, continuing as far as northeast from G 4830 in hard debris, uncovering part of west wall of G 4920 and a small black painted inscription on a lintel found in position (see photo No. C5583).
