(1) East of G 4710
Continued clearing exterior mud brick chapel east of G 4710, but stopped after slight progress to resume later (close up to railroad line).
(2) G 4813
Work continued on mastaba G 4813. O I and O II cleared of drift sand. Large niche (uninscribed) at west end of O II. Fine, but unfinished reliefs on south wall of O II, the block found yesterday in O I belongs on south wall of O II. The upper stones of this wall with reliefs have been removed (by thieves?).

Pits A, B, and C cleared.
G 4813 A has burial chamber to the east, containing a plaster mask, fragment of a heavy diorite bowl, and a fragment (ankle and part of basis) of a statuette [15-11-63] of fine brown stone.
G 4813 B contained two fragments, in the upper debris, from the ruins of pottery vessels, one of these a hard red-brown ware, red washed inside, black washed, polished outside, with a double incised line running horizontally below the rim. A ware unknown in ancient Egypt - possibly Greek.
G 4813 C (unfinished) is stone faced, and contained many pottery fragments, and pieces of a standing statuette in terra cotta colored sandstone.
(3) South of G 4813
Clearing sand south of G 4813 and east of G 4811 (the room of pillars). Against the southern side of G 4813 a pile of hard debris (under top sand). At the northeast angle and the northwest angle (x x) this pile of debris has been disturbed, a hole being dug down into it. (Schiaparelli?).
