Finished clearing space between G 5230 W and G 5230 N. Carried out plaster floor as it rested on sand. Hole dug by treasure hunters. Fragments of statues (limestone) and statuettes (granite, etc). Scraps of Roman pottery.

Worked on railroad embankment - space north of G 5230 W.
