Thursday, January 29, 1914

Debris between G 4240 and G 4330 being removed all a.m.
And two hours work used in taking sand from pit found in G 4141 A [= G 4140-Annex A] attached to the north end of G 4140, but stopped because Junker claimed half of it.
Sand and debris being take from between G 4330 and G 4430 during p.m. and causeway there being taken to new causeway from G 4420.
Street between G 4440 and G 4339 finished:

Friday, January 30

Work continued removing debris from between G 4330 and G 4430 and also between G 4240 and G 4330.
About fifteen minutes used to look at ground west of G 4220, where rooms were found filled with sand.

Pit G 4341 A continued in p.m. finding in chamber many pieces of leaf gold, ordinary beads, and odd beads probably part of necklace:
