[G 2381]
Cleared out coffin and body in G 2381 A (see 1912 IV).

Finished clearing G 2500.

Friday, January 3, 1913

Work begun on cemetery G 1500 north of the cemetery G 1400 etc. of 1904-5.
A mud-brick mastaba, G 1551 was cleared with a corridor which was roofed with leaning brick vault fashioned on under side to resemble beams and painted red: [ILLUSTRATION] In this was an unusual serdab between two niches on the level of the floor. The district is very unpromising in appearance. But I want some material on the date of these mud-brick mastabas.
