Clearing southwards at the end of street G 7300 and removing the rail embankment, by line VIII.

(2) G 7240
Clearing between mastabas G 7240 and G 7230, to uncover the north face of G 7240.

(3) G 7430
Clearing debris on top of mastaba, working to southwards.

(4) G 7440
Clearing debris at south end of mastaba G 7440. Found in debris: diorite vessel fragment, faience fragments.
G 7440 Y [= G 7441]: Depth 8.80 meter. Chamber cut in rock on south. No door blocking.

(5) G 7000 X
Wheeler fitted cradle to lid of sarcophagus for lifting.
