Removed the lines of plaster (yellow) and the floor wood and cleaned off the whole area. Underneath is an irregular depression in the floor filled with stones and limestone dust. (as usual)

Area adjoining 737 on the east.
Removed scattered pieces of wood over west part next to box. Took up the lumps of "gray muck" (decayed cloth) which had evidently fallen out of the box (737) after its collapse. Underneath is north-south wood continuous with that on the surface of the eastern part of 1019 and as far east as on the pot [ILLUSTRATION]. This wood is clearly the eastern side of the box (737) which fell west to east.
