No. 647: Removed ridges of wood, plaster dust, made by pressure of 599 and by 600 (on east). Took sample of decayed pottery dust of 599. East-west boarding lies underneath this and under 599. Between 599 and 600 north-south wood (part of 537? it looks now as if 537 were two battens parallel, not one).

No. 648: Fragment of fabric, fallen from above, like 643c. Lying over 649 S.

No. 649: Displaced fragments around 600 and 601.

No. 650: North-south wood between 599 and 600.

No. 651: East-west wood under 599 (646, 647, E). Rests on floor dust. In floor dust much reddish matter (pottery dust or red sand, see 628). Swept up floor dust.

No. 652: East-west wood under 600, swept up floor dust ca. 1 cm deep.
Treated wood on top of 629 and the fragments of fabric further west, with celluloid solution.

No. 653: East-west wood under 601 and 622. Swept up floor dust.

No. 654: See page 558 and A3941.
Copper rectangle with gold leaf on under side.

This rests on a fragment of wood with a mortise of same size as hole in plate.
