G 7143 B: Continued clearing pit B; down 920 cm; chamber appeared on west; part of rubble door block in place; pit not finished; room not attacked.
(4) G 7144
Continued clearing the rough rubble mastaba G 7144 towards south. It lies between G 7143 and G 7249. There has been overbuilding here which is not yet clearly exposed.
(5) G 7146
In the space between G 7144 and G 7249, south of pits A, B have appeared two more pits C, D but these start from a higher level and may not be connected with A, B.
G 7146 C: 200 cm deep; chamber on west; partly cut in rock; empty; thieves' debris
G 7146 D: 160 cm deep; chamber on south; door block of crude brick in place
In the surface debris south of D fragments of faience (ushabti, amulets, etc.) bronze, etc. of Ptolemaic-Roman as usual.
(6) G 7147 [= G 7145+7147]
This is the small mastaba in the angle of G 7150, north of G 7145. Cleared the two pits A and B.
G 7147 A: Depth 180; chamber on west; part in top of rock and roofed by stone of wall of G 7150; nothing in it.
G 7147 B: Depth 300 cm; chamber cut in rock; door block of stone and rubble; pit of rubble but on west is wall of G 7150.
(7) G 7249
G 7249 A: Depth 500 cm; chamber on south; empty. On west, a second chamber stopped with two stones and plastered with mud.
