Office work as usual. I went to Heliopolis, lunch with Oakes and races.

Work on:

Filled trenches in Avenue G 2 (as above).

Sunday, January 9, 1927
Office work as usual. Widening causeway north of G 7410 for exit of coffin G 7410 B. Gang cleaning and oiling railway equipment.

Monday, January 10, 1927
Work as yesterday.

Tuesday, January 11, 1927
Day of rest for men.
D. Dunham and Wheeler took day off. I worked on photos as usual.

Wednesday, January 12, 1927 to Saturday, January 15, 1927
Office work as usual. Work on causeway and repairs to railways, strengthening workbaskets, cleaning barracks, etc. Men left Quft on January 15.

Friday, January 14, 1927
Mr. Edgar came in the morning and looked at the objects to be divided. Promised to report to Lacau and get his reply.

Sunday, January 16, 1927
The men (95) in number arrived from Quft in the morning. In the afternoon employed them in getting the two rail lines VII and IX in order.
