No. 1461 (D): beams as 1455, doorjamb. Swept off scattered fragments of wood, plaster, dust from top side of 1461.
(a) six small fragments plaster stained with gold patina and impressed with hieroglyphs of 1455.
(b) six small fragments and scraps of sheet gold.

No. 1462 (W): potsherds, continuation of 1458. See A4452.
(1)-(46) red ware tub, red ware type 1201 and 1207, etc.

No. 1463 (D): Copper tenon. See pages 1532-3.

No. 1464 (D): copper socket (fits 1463?). See pages 1532-3.

No. 1461: resumed. See pages 1532-3, A4453.
(2) copper staple at north end, east side was lifted.
(3) the top and bottom of doorjamb 1461 were found to be detached. So we raised the top sheet (inscribed) and laid it on board. Inscription in relief like 1455 but facing looking left instead of right.
Underneath (e) the bottom (on back side) of post was seen to be broken into two crumpled fragments. The wood was only partially preserved at two ends. On the wood, were visible staples (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) (see below). See pages 1543-4.

*A4459: No. 1461, looking south.
*B6094: pottery south of coffin, looking east

Wheeler drew No. 1461 scale 1:5 on pages 1543-4.
Dunham packed No. 1455 and took up pit.
Wheeler and Dunham treated wood of 1461 with celluloid solution.
