Confused mass of potsherds near coffin.
(a) removed disorganized fragments of wood which lie on the potsherds, mainly fibrous brown wood with fungoid formations.

Removed the higher lying No. 7, copper [ILLUSTRATION]
There is a badly corroded and light weight core of hard metal. The bulk of the carbonate, on and under (7) and Nos. (8), (9), (10) - comes from the decay of this tool which was without doubt massive like 565. No. (6) much heavier and less corroded than (7). [ILLUSTRATION] Much like (4) and 564. There is no trace of container and all these implements had probably been thrown naked on the pile of pottery.
