The wood has been pushed up to north by the fall of 581. As we approached east end of 606, came on a long piece which ran under 607 q.v.
Removed 607 (*A3926) a north-south piece of wood with leather (?) (from inside 590?).
Removed No. 606: Lifted thick piece on east.
Swept up crumbs of wood and plaster over 604, 605, 606. Underneath is a very irregular layer of crumbled plaster (yellow, or red, or drab).
No. 608: A narrow piece of wood running on a slant below 600. Part of east-west boarding fallen from above (from south).
No. 609: Section of east-west boarding under 608 and westwards. Brushed up crumbs.
The east-west boarding 605, 606, 609 is especially thick and in more than one layer.
