The core of the wing (486) was wood backed on both sides with a brown drab plaster.
No. 486: (24)-(27) strips from top face of wing.

The rest of the wing has crumpled upon itself in a confused pile. We proceeded to remove these (see Photo *A3841)
No. 487: (1)-(9) displaced parts of (W)
*B5966 while this plate was being developed and printed, we went on with 484.
No. 484: (51)-(72) inlays, etc. north and northwest of wing, including parts of (L).
No. 488: Heavy fragment gold sheet (L 4.2 cm), from leg (?) of hawk (L).
No. 487: (10)-(27) (see *B5966) parts of wing, some of it set together as was.

Treated wood within reach with celluloid solution. Began cleaning with dry brush the area to south. Uncovered fully [GLYPHS]: the sign [GLYPHS] were visible before. This is the name at the end of the western line of hieroglyphs.
