*A3995: pile of gold sheets as is, looking east
*A3996: no. 730, inlays, etc, looking east

Turned to No. 737: The deposit of gray mud under 721, see A3990. The mass is continuous except for cracks, but is irregular in outline owing to subsidences of lumps towards outside. Removed large lumps along northern edge. The mud is gray in color, very light in weight and friable, containing fibers. The mud is undoubtedly decayed fabric. Under the mud are two layers of wood, the upper nearly white in color has a north-south grain, and the lower brown in color has an east-west grain.

*B6003: The exposed wood under 737, looking south.

Nos. 721 and 737 represent a wooden box which contained a mass of clothing (or cloth) or possibly two boxes.
