D. Dunham and Wheeler not working.
In the morning, I drove over to Saqqarah to see Firth's Dynasty 3 tomb.

In early morning on dump, the carry was very short. In the afternoon, men went in pits and half of IX gang was taken to VII.

Having cleared away the dump, began clearing away old debris over mastaba G 7143. Pit A was cleared last year. Pits B and C are large plundered pits and were in hand today. Also E and F.

G 7143 C: Ended at rock; no chamber; depth 185 cm
G 7143 E: An intrusive pit with chamber (built in debris) on south.
