On 1371 a long strip of the gold sheet has detached, this was now removed together with a copper socket belonging thereto. [ILLUSTRATION] cross rill decoration.

pierced red ware lid,
red polished bowl [ILLUSTRATION],
small red ware basins [ILLUSTRATION].
Also fragments of large red brown ware jar as 1021 (cf. 1068, 1073).

*A4365: wood on 1371 and 1374, looking northeast

No. 1373: Wood, removed the decayed wood (treated Monday) from inside 1373. [ILLUSTRATION] The grain runs length wise in layers parallel in plane to side marked (x). [ILLUSTRATION] The wood was fairly preserved in part, lay in segments, result of shrinkage. (a) and (h) had marks of copper staple.
