The lower half as the jar lay on its side has been stained by some liquid. Inside are fragments of wood (intrusive) and some lumps of a spongy mass (original contents?)

Hammered out of one piece of gold.

Potsherds (66)-(73).
(71)-(72) were small model basins of red ware, upside down on (73).
Between (71) and (72) and apparently the contents of (71) was sand. [ILLUSTRATION].
