(d) this is the higher and larger deposit of copper, see A4199 [ILLUSTRATION].
Removed layer of loose carbonate on top of 6. Removed No. 5 which is entirely carbonate and runs up over 6 to east. No. 6 is of hard metal like No. 4. No. 5 appears to be crust of No. 6.

Let 1058 lie until these had been developed.

No. 1067: See A4175 and A4192.
Area between the circular wood (1034) and the cleared space under 904.
(1) end of gold leg, southeast leg of bed. [ILLUSTRATION]

Removed wood on surface (mostly fibrous brown wood, under it, brown wood powder resting on limestone floor dust, swept up to rock.

Mr. Lucas came, very kindly in response to a note. Husein drove him out and afterwards back again. Examined copper (1)-(4) of yesterday and deposit as it lies (No. 1058). Took samples.

No. 1058: resumed. See A4200 and A4201.

Removed (8), (9), (10) which are layers of carbonate only. Exposed No. (7) which is of hard metal like No. (6). No. 7 has probably turned over after (10), (9), (8) were formed, i.e. (10), (9), (8) are from (7).
