Cleaned up over gold bands with dry brush.
*A3816: gold bands etc over (Z)-6
*A3817: more distant view of (Z)-6 etc
Removed the gold bands Nos. 447 - 455.
Removed 456 (1)-(20) scattered inlays etc over (Z)-6, being from (P), (Q) and (Z)-3.
Began cleaning back of (Z)-6 with dry brush and had finished about three-fourths of it when I noticed it was 5:30 p.m. and impossible to finish.
[Note No. 446(50), (510 introduced a new element [ILLUSTRATION] both sides inlaid alike.]

Finished cleaning (Z)-6 long job.
Removed 456 (21)-(25) miscellaneous on (Z)-6 and not of it.

*A3820, whole of (Z)-6
Drew plan of (Z)-6, scale 1:2 scale, another long job.
(Z)-6 consists of two registers (1) the upper consists of a single row of [ILLUSTRATION] inlays; (2) the lower consists of seven blocks of which the first, third, fifth and seventh are of the usual double row [ILLUSTRATION] of nine elements each and the second, fourth and sixth are inlaid gold flowers. The total length is about 61 cm.
