Removed No. 557c: Part of the middle bar of bed, over boarding. See *A3916

Removed No. 587: The next board to south of 582. See *A3917. The joints between the boards are not distinguishable. The greater part of the wood is greenish drab (where best preserved), but some is reduced to whitish ash, some is brown and a few bits are very dark. Swept up fibers and crumbs, and then swept up floor debris. Limestone dust on rock merging into brown stained dust above.

Removed No. 588: Next board to south. Same process as before (587).

Measured area for positions of 566, 597, 598, 599, 600, 601, 602 (see page 523) and see drawing on page 524.

Removed No. 593: Lump of brown wood west of 565. Apparently Nos. 589 - 593 are parts of pole to which staple 565 was attached.
