Cleared away surface dust over area northwest of eastern palm capital. Exposed fragment of a new Z-pattern of small inlays.
No. 470: (70)-(166) displaced inlays, etc.
No. 472: Gold band, 9.3 x 1.2 cm
Cleared up under 470 (120)-(126) and southwards east of wing.
*A3831: wing and surroundings.
*A3832: rest of (Q) and surroundings.

We can go no further without removing west-southwest and (Q) west. There are a few pieces lying on (Q) west which do not belong, and must be removed. Wheeler began drawing of these pieces (scale 1:2).
