G 4312 A: In shaft. It is cut in rock, only a small lining on top with stones. It is south of B. Down 1.6 meters. Debris, in breaking big stones fallen from G 4310. Not reached the rock in shaft not reached the chamber.

G 4312 B: In shaft and chamber. It is cut in rock. It is south of C and north of A. Total depth 2.6 meters. Sand, limestone debris. Chamber on west, below the lining of G 4310. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.

G 4312 C: In shaft. It is north of B and south of D. Lined with dubsh above and cut in rock below. Total depth 1.2 meters. Sand and limestone debris. Ended at rock. No chamber. Removed the inscribed offering stone [37-9-1; NB: photo of offering stone in situ dated September 2, 1937] to the camp.

Dahi Ahmed and M. Salem left for Quft.

G 4312 A: In shaft and chamber I. Down 3.2 meters. Debris, in breaking stones and sand. In chamber, sand, silt deposited by rain and bones.
Chamber I: On east. Cut in rock. No blocking. The chamber cut it bad rock. Found in shaft debris: torso of [male] statuette from pair statuette woman on right (sic.) side of man, fragment of base of the same statuette, granite fragment with one worked surface. Cleared the chamber. The shaft descends below the chamber. No second chamber exposed yet.

Chamber II: On south. Cut in rock. No blocking (small). Not reached the rock in shaft and not started in chamber II.

G 4312 A: In shaft and in chamber II. Total depth 6.42 meters. Limestone debris, dubsh, pebble and red debris. In chamber red debris and silt deposited by rain. Cleared. Open and empty. For the drawing see page 506.

G 4312 D: In shaft. Down 6.5 meters. Sand, limestone debris, dubsh, pebble and remains of potsherds. The shaft was cut in bad rock. Not reached the rock in shaft and not reached the chamber.
