G 2104 A: Removed the chamber blocking. It is cut in bad rock, and it was roofed with slabs, because one remains in place on south. Rubble, stones and mud bound and in the chamber the roofing stones and red debris. The roof was fallen in the chamber and broke the body. We removed the body. Cleared. Drawing.

West of this mastaba. Search for new mastabas and to expose the lining of the mastaba on west. Sand, limestone debris stones and dirty debris. Nothing exposed yet in that place.

(1) G 2042a A, B, C, D, X, Y, Z

(1) G 2042a
Stone mastaba, east of G 2042 and south of G 2043. Three niches in the east wall, only the middle one is inscribed in sunk relief. Also a stone chapel on east. And opened on east, exposed seven shafts in the mastaba A, B, C, D, X, Y, Z.

G 2042a A: In shaft and chamber. Lined with dubsh above and rock-cut below. It is east of B. Total depth 3.6 meters. Excavated before 1.2 meters. Sand and drift papers. Cleared. Drawing.

G 2042a B: In shaft and chambers I and II. Lined above with rubble and rock-cut below. It is south of C. Total depth 5.9 meters. Excavated before 3.5 meters. Sand, limestone debris and in chamber II red debris mixed with pebble. Two chambers.
Chamber I. On south. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Empty.
Chamber II. On west. Cut in rock. The roof of the chamber in bad rock. No blocking. North-south limestone coffin with lid, but the lid is not exactly in place. In the coffin, body, head on north. Left for photo.

G 2042a C: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with rubble and rock-cut below. It is north of B, south of D and west of A. Total depth 2.55 meters. Excavated before 60 cm. Sand, limestone debris and drift papers. Chamber on west. Cut in rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing on page 597.
