G 2110 Z: In shaft and chamber. Lined with crude brick above on three sides, only on east with masonry and cut in bad rock below. It is south of Y, near the southwest corner of the mastaba. Total depth 1.15 meters. Sand and pebble. Chamber on west. Cut in bad rock. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.

BROADCAST FROM THE PYRAMIDS AT 11 p.m.. Dr. REISNER, Miss Mary REISNER, SELIM BEY HASSAN, Mr. W.S. Smith, Mr. Emery spoke to America from the base of the great pyramid. Started with Bill, who spoke about the excavations and the Egyptian workers. Dr. Reisner spoke about the Pyramid and what he is going to do in the future. Miss Mary Reisner said the story of the red hair Queen. Queen Hetepheres. Prof. Selim Hassan spoke about the granite stela in front of the Sphinx. Mr. Emery spoke about his new excavations at Saqqarah. A newspaper man spoke about the American tourists to Egypt, and Mr. Keeting spoke from the inside of the great pyramid describing the coffin of king Khufu.
THE BROADCAST ENDS WITH GREAT SUCCESS TO THE HARVARD MEN. Dr. Reisner received four cables from America congratulating him and Mary and Bill for the success of the Broadcast and also many letters.
