Completed the clearance of debris between G 7140 and G 7142, eastward to street G 7100.
(5) G 7240
Continued to remove debris from south of mastaba G 7240, revealing the mud brick casing of the mastaba and a mud brick wall running south from it. Another mud brick wall, running east and west appears to form a door with the northeast corner of G 7142.

Found one green scarab in the debris at south end of G 7100.

In the morning, I went to Benedite's funeral. Dows Dunham drew the next layer of inlays.
In the afternoon, removed the gold hieroglyphic signs No. 293 (1)-(7), (19) [GLYPHS]
and (8)-(18) miscellaneous inlays and strips.
No. 294 - 295: Gold sheets (leg chair ii).
No. 296: Decayed wood.
No. 297: (8) gold sheets, parts of great inlaid sheet.
Nos. 299 - 300: Parts of bird wing.
