Ninety-eighth day of work.
Friday night we dined with the Henrys in town. About 10:30, a gust wind came up from northwest. We drove out to Pyramids in clouds of dust with the Ford shaken and swayed in the wind. The storm lasted all Friday night, all day today. The wind was cold and the sky overcast.

Removed Nos. 235 - 240. Beforehand took *A3721.
Nos. 236 - 240 were groups of dislocated inlays and strips of gold leaf which lay in confusion under 216 etc. No. 240 was the group on the large fragment of limestone (the one furthest south). In addition to inlay from the flower elements 167, etc. and the tall board, there were [ILLUSTRATION] blue and [ILLUSTRATION] blue from a pattern not yet encountered. Under 239, was a mass of particles of decayed wood and drab plaster and under these other inlays are visible.
(2) Street G 7100 S
Cleaned to floor working to south from edge of excavations 1924-1925. In front of chapel G 7130 exposed a crude brick room with stone paved floor. North of this a large pit G 7130 Y [= G 7133].
