Cleared space, two-thirds south side of G I-c, to surface of Old Kingdom packing. The surface is very worn and irregular. The packing is largely yellow limestone chips, etc.

In the black debris found as usual fragments of rings, amulets, etc. of Saite period.
(3) Pyramid G I-c
Continued exposing south face of G I-c. Weathered to base line as packing began at top of foundation course and is now denuded below this. [Surface of weathered packing slopes down to denuded top of trench wall.]
(4) G 7152
G 7152 A: Down 13.2 meters. The debris on the south side continues as dirty sand but that on the north is clean limestone rubbish like original filling. The chamber is probably not much further down.
