(1) G 7510
G 7510 X: At the bottom of this pit, which contained a great mass of broken late bodies and a number of late beads, was found at the west a long passage at first taken for a room but now seen to run for a great distance under the mastaba G 7510. The men are now at work clearing this passage.

(2) G 7511
G 7511 A: One of the rock graves in the floor of the western chamber, higher level, in this pit has now been cleared of surface debris and is found, from head at east to shins, to be filled with a mass of Saitic ushabtis of blue glaze. The tibia and fibula of the left leg (?) stick up through this mass, which seems to be at least three layers deep in places.
One of the inscribed ushabtis [25-4-1], where there seem to be many, bears an inscription which seems to read:

[GLYPHS] [Djedhor]

Mr. Lindon Smith began the full face view of Ankhaf this afternoon.
A fierce dust storm rose suddenly at 11:40 a.m. and continued to blow all the afternoon. Work in the field speedily became impossible and was abandoned. The wind rose again, new from north at 5 p.m. and raged all the evening.

Over the page will be found a summary of excavation during the season now practically closed. This may at some future time be found useful for reference.
