A party of men are breaking up and clearing away fallen blocks of limestone in this street.

The long Roman graves G 7410 R - W having been mapped this morning were being cleared away during the afternoon.

(4) Street G 7500
The men ceased work in the surface of this street today. Clearing in the pits and chambers however continues. A curious cutting round a great square patch of rock within the northernmost crude brick mastaba has been found.

"Pit next to former on northeast" [G 7509 U]: Opened yesterday. Down 555 cm in dirty sand and bones.
