Avenue G 0: north of G 7210.
Men have found a number of pits near G 7215, which are numbered G 7215 A - K; only pit D was worked on. See No. 6 below.
The embankment of Line III just to north of above graves, was also being cleared.
(2) Street G 7300 and G 7310-7320
Street G 7300: front of G 7310.
Men have nearly cleared interior chapel of G 7310 and are now breaking up and removing the large stones in the street to north of chapel to a distance of 13 or 14 meters from chapel. Some of them have now commenced to remove the Ptolemaic debris to the north of this point, against the front of G 7310. About 3 meters north of the 8-sided pillar found yesterday, which is now found to be resting on a circular base, the circular base of another similar column has come to light.
The diameter of the drum found yesterday is 53 cm and the height 46 cm. Each "side" averages 23 cm.
