Rowe having measured up G 7110 B, we opened up G 7110 A and began dumping from A to B.

(3) G 7120
G 7120 A: Down 11 meters in G 7120 A.

(4) G 7130
Pit G 7130 A was opened and found to contain debris dumped in by modern thieves. The dirty dust contained small object of late date and a few older fragments (alabaster headdress, granite bowl, etc.).
Work was also begun on the front of mastaba G 7130 clearing the dump heaps of thieves away as far as the chapel in the street. This earth gives out on line II (street G 7100).

(5) G 7220
G 7220 A: Opened pit A in G 7220. Down 4 meters. Has been plundered: but all fragments found (fragments of diorite statuettes, a pottery model offering dish, fragment of copper dish) are of Old Kingdom or even Dynasty 4).

(6) Railroad line III in street G 7200
Began railroad line III at level of top of debris south of street G 7200 and proceeded to drive line [ARROW] south through heaps of surface debris left by illicit excavators in this street.
