See plan on page 44. Carried railroad II in to southwest corner of G 7220. The embankment at that corner is wide and high, but is preferable to the very long carry involved in placing loading point 20 or 30 meters further north.
The excavation of the upper debris in street between G 7120 and G 7130 is proceeding and the earth is being used to build the loading embankment.

(3) G 7110
Continued clearing G 7110 pit.

(4) Avenue G 2
Street between G 7120 and G 7130. This street was already partially excavated (see November 9 (3)). Clearing to level B (see page 16) working in from east. Earth going to form loading embankment of line II.

Tomb of Mery-Ra nefer = Qa'ar

A. (stairway) lined with relief beginning about 50 cm above loading A2 but all these reliefs are on masonry above rock.
C. Reliefs on north wall also on Turah limestone masonry above rock. Same on west wall.
D1 and D2. Architrave, columns and antas(?) are inscribed.
E, F, G. Also inscribed but walls not yet visible except upper part.
