(1) Avenue G 0
G I-a, north side. The excavation north of G I-a has nearly reached the northwest corner of the pyramid. Extends north to row of three lime kilns. Has exposed southern side of eastern and middle kilns.
Towards west rock rises and Schirparelli's trench is seen to be following a cut in the rock perhaps a wall trench.

(2) Avenue G 2
Cross street between G 7120 and G 7130. Just about finished upper debris to pit floor. Usual small objects as in this dark layer in street G I-a, G I-b.

(3) G 7110
G 7110 B: Cleared to bottom of pit, no original filling. No door-block. Proceeded to excavate chamber.

(4) G 7101
Removed debris in statue niche in room c (west wall). Seated figure cut in nummulitic limestone plastered and painted (as usual). Badly damaged. Left hand closed on left knee, right hand open on right knee palm down.
Clearing room F. Walls in bad condition. Cut in nummulitic limestone and plaster. On south wall, Arabic graffito, evidently same persons who left smoke-smuts in c - d. A stone bench on north and west.
Room g. Reflecting light into g, the room is found to be longer (towards east) than appeared with a niche (?) or doorway (?) opening to south.
Cut away the Ptolemaic-Roman bin over serdab and pit (see page 67) and began excavation of these parts.
