Clearing the debris on top of mastaba G 7240 in search of pit B.
(3) G 7060
G 7060 B: Clearing radeem and fallen stones from shaft of chamber of G 7060 B to facilitate measurement. Limestone sarcophagus lies north-south in the chamber, and three limestone jar lids were found beside it. A roughly cut recess in the shaft contained sherds of dark red polished pottery with a dark core.
(4) G 7070
G 7070 B: Clearing the debris from shaft to facilitate measurement. A chamber on the south contains a limestone sarcophagus.
(5) G 7130
Clearing debris from the top of mastaba, to measure the top course of core, on west side.
(6) G 7140
Clearing the debris from the top of mastaba to measure the top course of core on west side.
(7) G 7000 X
We now proceeded to clear away the scattered inlays and strips which lay over the southwest leg of ii and eastwards.
No. 356:
(1)-(25) all of these except (25) (Y) were from (Z).
(26) was a gold frame from (Z).

(27) a flower element silvery (black) smaller than (26) and from another part of (Z).
(28)-(46) inlays mainly from (Z)
It was seen that a part of (Y) lies over the southwest leg ii, over this piece of (Y) was dust (brown wood), plaster, gesso. Cleaned up with pincers and wet brush. There were still a number of displaced inlays and strips.
