Work continued on pit G 7140 Z [= G 7135].
Continued clearance of debris from the south end of the street to the southern extremities of mastabas G 7140 and G 7240. For description of debris see Wednesday, March 24, 1926.
(2) G 7140 [G 7135]
G 7140 Z [= G 7135]: Down 13.6 meters.
Continued clearance of debris from the chamber and from the further descent of the pit. Pit broken through into G 7140 C in the northeast corner.
(3) G 7140
Clearing the southern face of mastaba G 7140, revealing the casing stones, and clearing debris. Debris in three layers, as in street G 7100 S, debris of sebbakheem, limestone chips and sand.
