Day of rest.

Dunham and I worked on G 7000 X.
Weather continues bad. sprinkles of rain in the afternoon.

Removed No. 216 (13)-(73) inlays and strips.

The backing was a heavy layer of plaster (gesso?) in which the inlays was sunk. [ILLUSTRATION]
Among these were some inlays belonging to [No.] 178 (the board with flower elements) 216 (39), (40), (45), (57), (58), (59).
At (51) stopped and photographed this patch showing plaster fragments (52). Removed plaster (52) and photographed again. Then removed (53)-(73) and photographed again.
