G 7230 B: Clearing the filling of sand and limestone chips from the pit G 7230 B, and breaking the large stones encountered. Down 9.75 meters.

G 7330 B: Clearing the filling from Pit No. G 7330 B. Down 8.55 meters. Found two fragments of broken faience ushabtis.

Removed No. 320 part of gold frame of (Z) (312 + 315 + 316 + 320).
No. 321: part of (Y) (319 (13), (14) and 321).
The stone on which rested 319 was now clearly exposed.

On this stone a thin layer of plaster (crumbled), fragments of wood, dust.
Removed this with wet brush, then dry brush.

Removed large stone from its place, the gold sheet (Y) squeezed between stone and bar was allowed to sink down in place. Under edges of stone some fragments of gold but stone rested on limestone powder of floor debris.

Began removing inlays on bar [ILLUSTRATION]: [327], No. 324 (1)-(10).
(1), (4), (5) are from (Y), but most of the inlays appear to belong to those scattered to south.
