(3) G 6035
Clearing east of G 6034, uncovered a thick rubble wall over which G 6034 has been built.
[ILLUSTRATION]
On the east face of G 6035, the rubble wall is partly cased with large gray stones (like Steindorff [alpha]). The relation between the inclined plane of [alpha] and G 6035 is not yet clear, but both are older than G 6034.
Under G 6036, G 6035 and G 6034, runs a considerable fissure in the bedrock from southeast to northwest. The southern edge of this fissure probably bends around in front of G 6044 to form the rock scarp east of G 6010 - G 6030.
G 6035 A: Down .90 meters. Disturbed mixed debris with Old Kingdom potsherds, and fragments of mud.
(4) G 6036
The west casing of G 6036 descends into the fissure. This mastaba appears to have been cleared or partly cleared by Steindorff. Along the east face and in the niche we found recent drift sand.

G 6036 A: Down 5.65 meters; Sand to 2.80 meters and then disturbed mixed debris with Old Kingdom potsherds and about ten mud jar stoppers (unimpressed).
