G 6010 A: Reached chamber of G 6010 A and also bottom of shaft. Disturbed white limestone rubbish nearly to bottom. At 14.10 meters from the top of the masonry at the south has appeared the door of a large chamber - open. At least one stone from the door block is still lying in the doorway. Drift sand mixed with a few chips of Old Kingdom pottery and limestone chips slopes down far into the room but at the south the floor is clean. The fragments of a hard R.W. bowl, pebble burnished [ILLUSTRATION] were found in the door way. Also a few other fragments of pottery, and a flint flake.

Near the "ledge" in the south wall of the chamber, which is, like the other walls, of roughly cut rock, a dark object, possibly a pot, is lying on the floor.
To the west is a large rock cut "mastaba" in which a grave has been cut. This is covered with a coffin lid of Tura limestone [ILLUSTRATION] which has however been shifted by robbers.
