(7) G 6032
G 6032 A: Clearing. Down 4.15 meters.

(8) G 7000 SW (southwest)
Continuing to clear trench 20, discovered that the wall supposed to be a mastaba is really the lining of a large pit (numbered G 7000 SW pit 1 [G 7000 SW 1]). The casing has fallen from the upper part, and the top of the casing as preserved is 165 cm below the surface. The pit was filled with stones, rubbish, sand, bones, etc. At a depth of 130 cm below top of casing came on a wooden anthropoid coffin (badly preserved) [25-12-135] upside down in the debris (i.e. thrown in). The coffin and lid appear to be of one log of wood.
The pit is 176 cm (east - west) by 226 cm (north - south)
