Inside G 7431 are two pits, A and B as shown above. Pit A is cleared and was found empty.

(5) G 7510
G 7510 B: This pit is now cleared to a depth of 1420 cm. Clean sand is still being brought up from the pit. The men are now using ropes for bringing up the debris, the pit being too deep for the 8 meter ladders.

(6) G 7215
This comprises a series of pits and a large crude brick wall to the north of mastaba G 7210 and to the east of G 7214. Their position is indicated on sketch below:
