G 7510 B: The debris from the pit is still being cleared, and consists of clean sand and large stones. The depth reached today was 1800 cm.
(5) G 7215
A number of new pits have been found near the large crude brick wall running north from mastaba G 7210 and numbered G 7215 L to X.
The positions of all pits G 7215 A to X is as under:

The following pits have been worked on today.
G 7215 E: Pit cleared; the south of pit is in rock; the three other sides are of crude brick. Depth of pit 300 cm. Men now clearing a sloping passage which leads downward to a chamber at south. From the debris in the pit came a fragment of stela showing legs of two persons (colored red). Also a [door jamb, 25-1-970] of a door (H 120, W 32) came from pit. This depicts a man holding a leg of some animal; his name is [GLYPHS] [Qar]. Two vertical Lines of text read: [GLYPHS]
