G 7230 B: Continued the clearance of chambers at the foot of shaft, working in room No. VII-into which is broken the new pit (see No. 3 today). In chamber No. 1 a pit was uncovered but no work was done on its clearance.

G 2381 Y: Work was done to the south and west of pit No. G 2381 Y, in clearing debris, sand and limestone chips-progressing to the south.

Under these was plaster. In the hollow formed by (64), (43), (38), (49), (48) and (66) are fragments of molded plaster like the dividing band and other patches of similar plaster are visible elsewhere in the are of (Q).
